    Frequently asked questions

Still have questions? Simply write to us via the form.

Please always state the reference number. Please do not put payment notes in the payment reference; always send them to us as a letter.

Let us know as soon as possible by email, fax or letter when you can pay and how much. If this is not the full amount of the claim, please also tell us how you intend to pay the remaining debt.

Yes, you are. Under section 286 of the German Civil Code (BGB), you are obliged to pay our costs as well, because you are in default of payment.

Yes, we are a licensed collection agency. We are licensed and registered with the Munich Local Court (Amtsgericht München). Before CashControl was granted its licence, we were vetted for integrity.

Please let us know as soon as possible by email, fax or letter. If we are unable to contact you because you have not informed us, e.g. because a letter is returned as undeliverable, we will take steps to trace your address. This leads to additional costs, which you will also have to pay. So please tell us about any changes straight away. That is always the cheapest solution.

Please do not do this. It often leads to back and forth. In many cases we are already initiating the next steps, e.g. an entry with SCHUFA or other databases, which causes considerable difficulties for you. In some cases we have already taken further measures, the costs of which you will then also have to pay. After all, we have already advised you to make payments only through us.

You will find a bank account at the bottom right of our letterhead. Please use this account exclusively to pay the debt.

Deletion from SCHUFA is only possible if the entry was made in error, i.e. the claim is invalid. If you pay, we report the claim as paid one day after receipt of payment. It is then marked as settled. This information usually remains on file with SCHUFA for 1 to 5 years.

Have you noticed a SCHUFA enquiry?

Please don’t panic. This problem can often be resolved quickly.
